General Rules
This Script Film Festival aims to encourage innovation, discover excellent scripts, and showcase and promote excellent film works through a virtual platform. The following rules apply to all scripts and film works participating in this virtual film festival.
Eligibility
Creator qualifications: Any individual or team can participate, but the originality of the entries must be guaranteed. Plagiarism and plagiarism are strictly prohibited.
Types of works: Including but not limited to micro-films, short films, documentaries, cartoons, science fiction films, action films, etc.
Theme requirements: The entries must revolve around specific themes, such as "Exploration of the Future World", "Reflection on Social Reality", "Harmonious Coexistence between Man and Nature", etc. (Specific themes are determined according to the annual film festival announcement).
Work requirements
Content requirements: The script must have a complete storyline, a compact plot, and clear logic.
The content must be healthy and positive, and must not contain illegal, vulgar, violent, pornographic and other bad elements.
Innovation is encouraged, and the works should reflect unique perspectives and profound thinking.
Technical specifications: Film length: Micro-films generally do not exceed 15 minutes, and short films do not exceed 5 minutes (the specific length is determined according to the annual film festival announcement).
Video format: Support mainstream video formats such as .mp4 and .mov.
Subtitles: Non-Chinese videos must add Chinese subtitles, and all videos are encouraged to add English subtitles.
Image quality and sound effects: Ensure that the video quality is clear and the sound effects are good to enhance the audience's viewing experience.
Copyright requirements: The copyright and authorship of the entries belong to the author, but the organizer has the right to use and disseminate.
Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. Once discovered, the entry will be disqualified and legal liability will be pursued.
Submission method
Online submission: Log in to the official website of the film festival or the designated platform, fill in the application form and upload the script and film files.
Please ensure that the file is complete and in the correct format when submitting, and attach the necessary subtitle files.
Submission by mail (if the file is too large): Save the script and film files in a USB flash drive and mail them to the designated address of the film festival (the specific address is determined according to the annual film festival announcement).
Please attach the application form and contact information when mailing so that the organizer can communicate with the contestants in a timely manner.
Review process
Preliminary review: The organizer of the film festival will conduct a preliminary screening of all entries and eliminate those that do not meet the requirements.
Review: Invite professional judges to score and comment on the works that have passed the preliminary review, and select the shortlisted works.
Final review: The shortlisted works will enter the final review stage, and a jury composed of well-known directors, screenwriters and industry experts will conduct the final review and select various awards.
Excellence Award: Several people, with honorary certificates and souvenirs

Schedule: The specific submission deadline, review date and award ceremony date will be determined according to the annual film festival announcement.
Publicity and promotion: During the film festival, the organizer will promote and promote outstanding works through official websites, social media and other channels.
Virtual platform experience: Participants and audiences can watch the shortlisted works and the award ceremony live broadcast through the official virtual platform of the film festival and enjoy an immersive viewing experience.
